United As one is a project where a group of teenage girls along with an adult supervisor raise money for those who require support for basic needs.

If a person performs a deed and it continues to benefit others in a good way, the performer of the deed will continue to collect the rewards for his or her single act for as long as it benefits others (even after the person passes away).

The Prophet said: “When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Muslim, Al-Tirmidhi)

"I was scrolling through Instagram and I found a very upsetting video. It was about how children across the globe were not able to go to school and have a good education. This video really got to me and I thought why is it that I get a proper education when other children don't? From there I made a promise to myself that I’m going to help children get a proper education in any way that I can."

Mariam then formed a team that included a group of girls named: Sheza Umer, Zainub and Zainah Hussain, Isra Islam and Noor Manzar. As Mariam is still young, Saima Sheikh overlooks the organization's progress and teaches the young girls how to run a successful organization. Alhumdulillah.
